1000 Responses to questions from the YESA Community in 122 days of service - average 8.2 per day. The questions have been interesting to say the least (including deciphering them) but there is a trend towards deeper issues and signs of exciting innovation happening. Ask Prof Ron 20-02-12
So far we are approaching the 750 mark with the average still just under 7 per day for 109 days. NMMU has been approached to assist in the process as the backlog is increasing at around 20-50 questions per day and each one demands an answer. This is encouraging to see.

My Development Team (Every1Mobile) for the My YESA Passport suggested that we call the pilot project “Ask Prof Ron.” This was to be a service to the YESA Community to ask any question relating to Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Innovation (STEMI). It soon became evident after a soft launch on 5th October 2011 that many learners did not have access to educational resources to find out information for themselves.I suspect that many of them were accessing the service from the back seat of a Taxi.
