| Give a short description of your competition (Max 600 Charactres) | : | Eskom Expo for Young Scientists (Expo) is South Africa\'s primary and only existing science fair for school students, where they have an opportunity to exhibit their own scientific invstigations. Eskom Expo has 28 affiliated regions for students to participate. Students can enter their own individual project, or a maximum of two students can work together on a group project. There are 25 categories in which a project can be accojmmodated. Projects must first be entered into a region expo. Projects will then be selected for participation at the National Finals competition. Regional Expos are held annually between July and September. Projects at adjudicated by a panel of judgees at regional and national. National finals take place in the thrid term of the academic school holidays. |
