Origins of EcoTale

The project was originated outside the gates of the Nxai Pan in Botswana. This chance meeting and subsequent discussions relating to EduTourism, sparked an interest in combining Coding and Robotics with Climate Change and Nature Conservation targeted at primary and high schools.

This project aims to unleash the potential of youth in using the lowest common denominator - a smart phone combined with coding using OctoStudio. 

Participating students are tasked to code of the world around them and then export an animated gif file to a secure social media platform.
