Group 1
We have learned many things here at fablab,like communicating with other people like a team work,and we learned how to make something with our minds,we have experienced many things that we thought that we did not know and how to solve a problem as a team. It was fun to learn something at the fablab,as a group.
It was a great opportunity to be chosen to participate at the fablab because we have a good ideas. We saw things that are made by hands and machines here at fablab,and our leaders give as chance to make our good and the bad mistakes and the fablab had so much interesting things that we haven’t thought about,the young engineers and scientists of Africa has given us many hopes in future because we will be able to know what must we do to make something with our own minds.Fabkids have shown us in our minds,here at fablab these people are so nice,they are patient to work with people who are very slow to use computer properly.
Group 2
If we work in group most of the things becomes easier, we share ideas, and come up with different things and make it 1. Our project(skhokho), was quiet interesting and fun, and also brings challenge…about creativity.It helps us learn that we can create things if we put our minds on it.
When it comes to drawing we need to think about something that is attracting/luring, and it also taught us how to draw in a computer…we have learned that we can have careers based on creating. For there to be a final product one must have a vision, secondly you must have a plan, most of all the thing we have learned is that all existing ideas came from things which are already there.
Working in a group has advantages and disadvantages:
Disadvantage
We come up with many ideas and its very confusing when it comes to choosing.
Some of others rely on others/become dependent on others incase of coming up ideas.
Advantages
Things becomes easily when we come with different ideas and combine them in 1.
We work as team mates.
we listen to each and every idea that one comes up with.
We really appreciate working with the FABLAB, and we would love to come back and create something new and explore our creativity.
Group 3
We have experienced that everything is not easy as it seems,and we have to work as group or to help each other and to share our idea, As a brilliant group things were difficult but we manage to workout even though it blow our mind we manage to do it.
When it comes to design that;s where the problem comes,most of us have a problem there, even though when it comes to using computer is a problem, but we manage how to use it,it was difficult for us we where ague about our ideas, but finally we manage to agree on one thing.
Although boys were taking advantage of our ideas as girls but we finally made it .But the first time we got here we did not know what we going to do but we clearly made to the end,we do not know that at fab lab beautiful things are made.
Group 4
what we have experience how to work as team played a big roll .We learned how to plan and design,we learned how to use a computer and how to work as group and we co-operated with co- workers. But even though we had problems we over came them as a team but at the end of the day we went home with a great experience in our knowledge.
We have learned many things such as how to design a logo of skhokho design and how to use corel drawing and we have gained more experience how to use a computer and we are much more faster in computer .They gave us task to do like to come up with a logo of a new car that has never be invented before,it was nice working with people you have never worked we taught each other many things…
Before we came here at the FABLAB we came with a mind of going to learn more about Science and technology. The first idea may not necessarily be the best,so it is better if several possible solutions are considered.
