GROUP 1

SPORT ACTIVE CARD DISPLAY

As group number one we decided to design a BUSINESS CARD DISPLAY as for many business people are not able to keep their cards safe and so this will help them to keep the cards safe.

We are using to lights name the RED and GREEN that is connected to the battery in the holder with to switchers that is namely one find you press to release the business card and the other one to press to hold the card inside. With a liver that holds the card inside and if the card is release the liver desipeard and the card comes out.

We use the rugby pale and soccer pale with the battery holder on top of the soccer pale with the business name on top.The two bottons control the lights formed GREEN and RED. This will help them to keep it on their reseptionist desk. It is also atractive.

It was very exciting to participate in the science and technology. We enjoyed it very much. It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

Goodmorning ladys and gentlemen

Today I`m going to tell you about my day at the FAB LAB.

When we got there the owner introduced himself and the other 3 colleuges. They told us what we could do in the Lab, what we can make and how to print the designings. Did you know that it is possible to print a bicycle? Well if you want to know the answer come to the amazing FAB LAB and you will even get to know more.

Now I`m going to tell you what we did. We where devided into grous of 4 at the same time we had to decide who will take part in what. They then took us into the Lab, we then sat in our groups and the owner gave us 2 designs that we could choose of naming; A DESK TIDY or a BUSSINESS CARD DISPLAYER. We choose to do the bussiness card displayer, I can say it was kinda though to come up with an idea that is attractive as well as a new idea. Just so you may know that we had to come up with a theme that had to include sport. Our group then started with the designs had a hard time with that but in the end we got what we wanted and you know they say two minds works better than one, oh and just for the fun we started after everyone, but we finished first. Here we are as follow: Dalon-the Construction manager, Zonia-the Design engineer, Bijon-the Team Manager and Verushca (me) the Media and Graphic artist.

One good advice I can give you is: DON`T ONLY THINK OF TODAY, THINK OF THE FUTURE this words where given to us by Mr.Ron.

Vandag gaan ek en my groep julle meer vertel hoe ons dag by FabLab was

Ons was in groepe van vier verdeel waarvan ons groep drie was .
Ons het in die Lab waar ons besluit het wie wat gaan doen
en ons het ons het besluit dat:

Craig die groep bestuuder
*Nicole was die ontwerper ingeneer
*Phillip was kontrakteerder
Ray-Nee was die media en grafiese ontwerper.

Die hoofdoel van die kurses is om leerders te motiveer om te ontwikkel om meer kreatief te
dink [anders te dink as gewoonlike]. Die les is gebasseer hoe om n besigheid kaart meer intersant te maak en om verby gangers se
aandag onmiddelike te trek .Ons groep het ons n dinkskrum gevorm waar daar verskillende idees op gekom het ,het ons besluit op rugby pale.
ons was verdeel in 4 groepe waarvan ons groep 3 was. ons het in die ons het in werkswinkel en waar ons moet besluit wie gaan verantwoordelik wees vir sekere taak.

Dit was weereens ‘n groot uitdaging. Deel van nuwe ervaringe en baie uit hierdie kurses of projek geleer. Meneer RON WAS VIR ONS ‘N GOEIE LEIDSTER EN ONS HET BAIE NUWE DINGE VANDAG GELEER.SY DIREKTE WOORDE WAS DAT ONS NIE HIERDIE GELEENTHEID NET VIR VANDAG MOET VET NIE, MAAR OOK SAAM DRA VIR DIE RES VAN ONS LEWENS. ONS MOET OOK VERANDERINGE MAAK IN ANDER MENSE SE LEWENS SOOOS HY ‘N VERANDERING IN ONS LEWENS GEMAAK HET. HY IS ‘N GOEIE VOORBEELD VIR ONS GROEP.

ONS SAL DIT WAT ONS GELEER HET NIE NET VANDAG TOEPAS NIE MAAR OOK VIR DIE TOEKOMS.

Ons moes vir n krieketspan afrigter n besigheid kaart houer maak. Aangesien ons dit vir n krieket afrigter doen het ons besluit om n krieket kolf te maak as n houer. Die krieketkolf staan reggop en het ook uit n battery, drie paltjies, n bordjie, n boks, 2 ligte, en n krag bord.
Ons moet alle afmetings reg afmeet sodat niks verkeerd sou loop nie. Ons was gedeel in spanne van vier per groep, en elke persoon moes n verskillende taak verrig. Ons het geassoseerde verantwoordlikhede gehad soos die Span leier, Ontwrep ingeneur, Elektronika ingeneur en die Media en grafiese kunstenaar. Die ontwrep ingeneur en elektronika ingeneur het die meeste werk gedon, ons het af en toe werk verander.Die elektronika ingeneur het meestal met die drade gewerk en gesorg dat ons battery en drade nie skade kon lei nie en dat ons ligte reg kon funksioneer.
Nadat ons al die stukke by die aftaster uitgesny dit het ons alles bymekaar gesit.

En op die einde was ons taak n groot sukses!!!
