An interesting approach to the school having to navigate back roads off the main street. First impressions can be changed as the staff made me feel very welcome. After a brief meeting with Mr Mokopela the small amphitheatre was identified as a suitable venue. All the Grade 6 and 7 learners filed in and the demonstrations proceeded.

Murphy was present to smile down on the session. I had worked through the dynamo and transfer of energy and was at the point of attaching the PV panel on the car when the clouds came over. No problems, the fan was hauled out together with the wind turbine which allowed sufficient time for the cloud to move on.

There was certainly an different feeling in the school with many teachers in attendance. The school was selected on recommendation from Mr Leslie Hlengani of Gatang.
