Kgatseng-Thabiso Secondary, Rustenburg, 17 April 2018 (203 Learners)

Finding this school was the challenge for the day. Google maps pointed out a more rural community in close proximity to the other two schools for the day. After asking several people, the police were the more helpful and pointed out that this school was just past President Mangope.

Sadly the message regarding the school had not filtered down to the school. After explaining the purpose of the demonstration The Deputy Principal indicated that the information was important for the learners and hence worthy of disrupting classes.

After setting up in the quadrangle with two tables in the middle all the Grade 9 learners and a few extra stragglers encircled the tables. The dynamics were different as the learners were less settled than the previous two schools. It makes a significant difference when trying to engage axxessthe learners especially if they appreciate when to settle down and when to enjoy the moment.

Sadly the wind turbine challenge was not resolved despite several alternatives being suggested.
