2.Solomon Mahlangu 23-05
Grade 7 (301)
This was a difficult school right from the start. I am not sure if my presence during break time had anything to do with it as I had driven my hired vehicle into the school quadrangle and started to unload the equipment. This natural created a great deal of interest and many of them were hyped up for some reason.
Two staff were in attendance and we agreed to split the 6 classes into two groups as the Grade was over 300 learners. I felt a little uncomfortable as there was a great deal of noise at all times and I did not want to reprimand them.
We discovered that most of the 300 were present as they had not remained in their classes as requested which may explain why they were so unsettled. Unfortunately there was no electricity in the classrooms next to the area that I was working resulting in the Wind powered section being converted into a show and tell scenario.
The equipment was handed over to Mr Majopholo the Principal.
